IT-BMS campaign file re-make Empty IT-BMS campaign file re-make

I'm making good progress. Somehow when I imported the Airbases and port, the Egyptian Airbases did not show up in the file.

Gotta go back and get them. After that, re-assign them to their correct names, then re-assign the ports to their correct names and that will be the bulk of the work and I can post a link to test.

There will likely be a little more work to do, but that will be more cosmetic in nature. Cool

Will keep you posted. Hopefully soon. Cool

EDIT: OH, Steve, I'm going to need you to do a little artwork for the Israel 2007 campaign. I'm going to replace it with one of the duplicate files in IT-BMS.

I'm all over it. Correct airbases and ports in the file. Now just to point them at their correct names.

This will be done in an hour or so, BOOYAH!!!

DONE. There are so quite a few issues that them dudes made but I can fix them and it won't affect the running of the campaign.

Now to export the objectives and import them into the save1/save2/Instant.cam and the te_new.tac and it will be all set.

Then just taking my FF Israel 2007 campaign and exporting then importing the units into the save1 and all will be good.

But at the moment I can issue the one campaign file and we can fly it.

First I have to test ride it like you were saying.

Later,

OKAY, Ive got the objectives imported in from my FreeFalcon files. I did all of the files, save0/save1/save2/Instant and te_new.tac.

I took a flight and I didn't get any significant improvement in FPS, BUT it was a lot smoother.

I'm going to make some adjustments in my vid card setting and go for a second ride.

I'm positive you guys with better systems WILL notice a change. Hopefully, I will too with some changes here.

Running real smooth. I'd like to get the files out to you guys tonight.

There are still some cosmetic issues(objective naming) that is a little skewed but over the next few weeks with us flying it, I'll get that sorted.

A little disappointing that you aren't seeing an increase in FPS. odd that it would be smoother without better FPS though, no? Whatever, as long as it gets you back in the unfriendly skies.

I'm quite confident it's my system, and/or vid card settings.

I'm about to adjust some stuff to see how it goes.

Okay, I made some vid card adjustments and took another ride.

I did get a FPS increase of about 3-4 and that's good on my rig, so higher end systems should be good.

It was really smooth.

The FEKKIN' Bakery/Deli manager where I work changed the freaking schedule Thursday and now has me off today(Sat).

Damn ASS WIPE. I wasted the gas to go into work and had to turn around and come home. That kind of crap pisses me off. The schedule is supposed to be posted on Tuesday and be official, which it was and I was on for today, but then he switched it Thurs night and I was off Friday and he didn't call and tell me. ASSHOLE.

Well, I guess I can mess around with the Israel theater.

But it's early 5:30AM and I don't have any beers. LOL

EDIT: I removed the link to my MediaFire as this is a public forum and uploaded the files into the Israeli Theater Operations File browser. The file is named IT-BMS_campaign.rar

All these files go into your C:\Falcon BMS 4.32\Data\Add-On Israel\campaign\israel folder.

I couldn't switch my Israel 2007 campaign for the top campaign as I forgot there are some unique units in the FF ITO2 DB. SO I'll have to go in there and switch those out for acceptable substitutes.

Actually, this was a bogus report. I did not notice that in my Regedit, I was flying on my other install on the D drive that also has Israel and I had altered the C drive install, haha

So today I figured that all out and set off on an Escort Mission, BLK40I's out of Ramat David. My FPS's on this crap system jumped double to near 15 which was smooth.

BUT, since these boneheads had just about every squadron active at the beginning of the campaigns for all side I ended up encountering the famed "Wall of Migs". There were 21's, 23's, 29's and SU25 all inbound, multiple flights and of course the FPS took a sharp hit. I did all I could, fired early to repel the biatches but it just became to much and I eventually crash.

I was able to eject just above the ground, maybe 40-50ft and I ended up MIA. So that was alright.

At any rate, when I fly, whether it be SP or MP I'm gonna have to FLY HIGH, like Angels 30 so when this rig starts slugging the FPS I have a lot of air under my ASS!!!! Laughing

So... RAM, based on your post at BMS, can you confirm that it ISN'T possible to get a victory in IT? I don't know anything about roads and travel paths... but your graphic looked pretty damning.

No, the trigger file needs to be adjusted. Even though the NASCAR race is on, today I have spent all day working in the yard so I haven't accomplished anything Falcon wise.

Very nice weather here today, low 70's and partly cloudy. Fine day to drink beer!!

Oh wait, ANY day is a fine day to drink beer. bounce
