Finally...
Got inspired last night after hearing about JB's close call. Was able to repeat a couple of times. Don't ask me to hook-up during a turn though...

Re: Finally...
Nice job man. How long it took you to make contact with the boom?
If you want to get quicker with the AAR, I suggest you dump fuel till you have about 100-200 lbs left before meeting with the tanker
4 ship AAR drill could be exciting

Too damned long!! If i had been in your situation, i would've had a nice quiet drop to the ground.JBlaze wrote:Nice job man. How long it took you to make contact with the boom?

I bet! I'll need plenty of warning (and fuel) to re-fuel. Odd that.

Re: Finally...
Just managed my first poke last night, although after several disconnects and a fit of rage I had to introduce some 20mm "speed holes" into the tanker. He responded by turning into fire.

Re: Finally...
LOL!!
I tried to make a new AAR TE without any weapons on my jet as i too have a tendancy to shoot down the tanker after a couple of missed attempts.
As tunechi suggested, let's get some MP AAR training going so we can help/laugh at each other.

Sounds fun. Maybe tomorrow? Cuz tonight I'm gonna get pissed drunk and probably gonna lose my voice shouting for team Finland.

HAHA.
Yeah, I'd like to do some AAR training.
When I investigated and made some fixes to the FreeFalcon AAR, I did quite a bit of testing during that. I was able to hook up but of course constantly got disconnected.
You'd all probably run out of fuel during my attempt.

Hey, we've known each other a good amount of time and I've always enjoyed the bullshitting, OH and the multiple Throng threads pasted all over hell and creation on Falcon sites, haha. Glad you PM'd me wanting our info.
Yeah that would be cool if you could grab a flight with us. Don't expect anything special, we don't even know, or should I say "USE" correct brevity, lot's of F*&ks and OH SH*t all about. We're pretty laid back. I'd guess the most laid back of any VFS that I've witnessed although the 87th is pretty laid back to.
I can't believe you didn't send me, that/your Training Range files, BITCH!!!!!
I have enough going on Dev wise, don't have time to make a Training range but I do think it's a great idea. Who built it??
I don't think the guys here would mind to take a flight in it sometime also.
Take care
