JDAMs on Multiple Targets

Yeah... there's a steerpoint on each target and we're switching between profile 1 (set up for CCRP) and profile 2 (set up for MAN release).

Would never get this off during a campaign though...

So we have a choice now between the smart way, and the Harley-mashing-buttons way.

Hmmm ... which to use?

In fact, I don't think I'll be using either cause it doesn't feel right somehow. I don't use JDAMs very often unless the weather conditions dictate it. Once the BMS team has them sorted, I expect to be using them more though.

The difference is that he's dropping 4 JDAMS on 4 separate targets. I too have droped on predesignated targets and assigned them to wingies, but i haven't been able to drop on multiple targets on a single pass without my whole "switching bomb profiles" routine.

Note that he's setting up a massive ripple spacing to give him time to change steerpoints between each bomb release. I had tried it with simply dropping from manual mode and dropping each bomb on a different steerpoint, but they would all land on the first steerpoint. I would have to essentially force the FCR to look to the next steerpoint (thus all my button mashing). I think this guys solution works because he never leaves CCRP, thus his radar slaves to the next steerpoint as he changes them. Sweet find.

I'll be trying this shit out tonight on a larger target to ensure that it works for sure!!

Is it a exploit of the current code? Perhaps a "tiny" one, but it isn't far off of how i've seen JDAMS work on youtube. And we all know that youtube is never wrong...

It's actually the same way BaldEagle coded it up for FF, except he did it in the pit via the MFD with the target list.

In BMS you just use the recon screen in conjunction with consecutive steerpoints.

But BMS is going to try to snuff that out by reverting the JDAM's back to dumb bombs because their philosophy is if they can't get the correct infor because it's classified then it shouldn't be modeled.

But I don't think they can stop us from using the recon/steerpoint method. So pretty sure that ability will always be there.
