DCS: A-10C Warthog on sale

DCS A-10 Warthog is on sale right now on steam for $16. Pretty good deal. Not sure how long it's on for.

I'm a viper fan, but for the price, i picked it up to give it a try.

Do you have to play it through Steam?? Or do you get the actual game disk and all??

It's a digital copy, no disk. So, yeah, i guess you play it through steam. Steam is free however, as it's really just a storefront to allow Valve to sell you games. Keeps them nice and organized too! I don't have too many games, but the ones i do have, i get through steam. It's nice when you have to do a reformat to simply download it and install again rather than keep a disk around.

Anyway, i just quickly tried A-10. Not the simple transition i thought it would be from falcon. Going to take a while i think and i'm going to be resisting RTFM'ing.

Well then I wouldn't even consider it. Steam sucks as far as I'm concerned. Their portal or whatever it is(don't know the tech word), sucks up system resources.

So unless you have a decent system, and we all know mine sucks big Donkey Schlongs, then you'll end up having issues.
