hello
So i am told that flying multiplayer is where its at. But don't really want to fly in some regimented squadron with all kinds of rules. Then i noticed you guys. You guys seem laid back, dont take it as seriously as life or death...ect ect.
I want to pretend to be in the military, not actually join the military....lol No, actually just want to fly around on my computer and shoot crap and have a good time.
anyway, about me, im 31, live 3 hours south of chicago, originally from Pittsburgh. I'm newish to falcon, can take off, shoot crap, and land. (most of the time) I've ramp started a couple times, but don't normally do it. Same with AAR.
so do ya'll like to fly with newish ppl?

LOL we/the rest of us, only do it so one particular member wouldn't feel too bad about himself, but I'm not calling out names here...

Re: hello
First off, Jay Bee, go find a rock to die behind!
Secondly, crazy, WELCOME!
Sounds like your ethos is well-aligned with what we do around here. We don't take things too seriously and if you can land and ramp start, you're already well beyond RAM's skill set! Despite all the bullshitting that we do, we have a good group of pilots that can help along where necessary as well.
We fly a bunch of different theatres. We currently have campaigns going in a 1980's era campaign and an Iron Fortress campaign in the Korea Original theatre. You're welcome to jump in whenever you want!
I'll likely be trying to get online for some flights tonight, so hopefully i'll catch you!

Re: hello
Oh good, someone for me to learn with. I haven't been around too long either but welcome, this is a great group of guys here.
I have also been known to take a wingman out right on the runway while taxi-ing. It saves a lot of time..

LOL!! I recommend downloading the weapon delivery planner software by falcas. In it, you can change the default burst altitudes for your weapons, so in case you forget in the pit, you'll have something more than 500 ft. I set mine to 2400 ft as i'm usually using MK-20Ds like last night.
