Re: BMS 4.32 Update 4
Mav-jp just posted up this workaround for the turbulence bug:
Turbulence bug, remove turbulence values (put wind 0 ) for tropo , heat and mech in weather page

Re: BMS 4.32 Update 4
So if a host makes these changes in our campaign, it will be saved in the campaign file like the rest of the weather info? Simple enough...

Mav says to disable it (diff thread), Amraam says to play with the values in the weather page... etc. I don't mind some downdraft if it is a real phenomenon. I'd rather not turn it off entirely if we can simply adjust it a little to something that is more reasonable. So, everyone that has flown a real viper... now's the time to speak up!!

Re: BMS 4.32 Update 4
As far as I've understood, the downdraft issue is not supposed to be there. All in all I'm not tempted to jump to update 4 at all. I don't see anything better in it for me (unless I'm missing something), and it seems to be causing quite a bit of trouble here and there.

Re: BMS 4.32 Update 4
The turbulence is only an issue if you're not expecting it. We didn't have any landing issues last night... well... except for the F-15s that taxied onto the runway after RAM had declared an emergency landing and JB getting fancy on his last landing of the night because he was stoned... i mean, bored.
The new explosion effects look awesome and are worth the price of admission on their own!
I wouldn't worry too much about updating... but you might want to try a landing in a TE first. On the BMS forums you'll never hear from the guys that are happy with this or that... only those that are having issues... like that little bitch that was complaining about the VASI lights last week!! LOL!!

Hahahaha!!! Yeah, I saw that VASI qq
Alright, I'll install that sucker this weekend then. Need to get flying again soon anyway before I get too rusty.

Re: BMS 4.32 Update 4
Just did my first landing in update 4 (fair weather), and I didn't notice any difference. If anything, it actually felt more smooth and less turbulent.

Re: BMS 4.32 Update 4
Lading yesterday @Seosan runway 02 and during the last phase I first had a huge updraft, once recovered from that I experienced the same again, but downwards now forcing me to briefly go AB. Managed to land, but at a pretty high speed.
Configuration was 2xGBU-24, empty centerline, fuel 1500
Weather fair +- 7 knots 45° crosswind
