Brian, remember when I said "the famous last words"?

RAM the flight lead
-lets go straight to the steerpoint 4, to stay away from the SA-4
-if we cut straight to steerpoint 4, we have to fly over an SA-6.
-don't worry about it
-roger....the famous last words...LOL
-LOL

dude I tho you got it covered LOL

Yeah lets try it again

Who would've thought that following the steerpoints is generally a good idea? I've never been a fan of "i'm airborne and referencing the target". Smile

Evading a SAM launch by crashing to the ground doesn't count as evasion Very Happy

Okay back to the topic

This time we planned to go in NOE right after we take out those SU-37's.
We took em out and split up. Harley went after the SA-15's over the target to clear the way in for me. As we found out, splitting up was a baaad idea.
There were a lot of MIG-21's scrampling from nearby airbase and I was 20-30 miles in trail so Harlequin had to fight em alone.

I made it to the target flying NOE and taking out 3 MIG-21's in a tight knife fight.
Evaded a couple of SA-15 launches, bombs on target, but got downed by ground fire.

In the debrief, mission success, but we never got to land so...

We need more guys for this one
