I've been thinking about our "less than stellar" mission last night.

Once we confirmed that those 16s were intent on intercepting us, i should have dropped my gear and turned on them to let you guys take off to the south. I wasn't set up for hitting the runway, so my targets weren't mission critical. Sorry dudes!

Second thought, i think most of us met our end because we were so concerned about dropping to CAT1 in the face of danger. I can't help but think that one of us might have been a little hard on another for going CAT1 early and often and created somewhat of an expectation for keeping our gear as long as possible. Sound like anyone we know JB?? Very Happy

How did the second sortie go? Sorry i couldn't stick around. Just can't start flying at 12:30am on a week night.

I never went CAT1 but still got into the furball.

After all was said and done, I still had my entire loadout and headed on toward the mission, Scraped was winchester but still with me.

I was gonna do my mission still but was overruled, so I aborted and RTB'd.

If all the DEAD pilots were actually DEAD and not in my ear I would have proceeded, lol, true.

Oh well, we didn't run it again.
