The joystick already arrived!!!!

Couldn't believe it. After I got home from work, I got a package from FedEx which I thought was the joystick.

But it was a fabulous gift from my oldest daughter in the Air Force out in CA for Fathers Day. A coffee mug that says "The 3 things I love most about being a Papa" and underneath the text were clipart pics of my Grand kids with their names, Sydney, Matthew(her two children) and Nevaeh(my daughter here who I'm living with, her child).

Then I went and ran some errands after picking myself up off the ground over the mug and I sat down and the UPS dude showed up and I was now basically crapping my drawers. I figured it wouldn't get here until Friday.

One of the girls at work asked me today if my kids would being doing something for me on Fathers Day. I actually didn't answer here question.

What I told her was that Fathers Day is the MOST emotional day of the year for me.

The cards my girls have given me since they matured have been some of the most heart wrenching words I have ever seen. They bring me to my knees. All the thanks they bestow upon me for how I raised them right, although at the time they didn't see it that way.

And of course the love. I guess when you have 3 girls and all the things involved with females and emotions and throw in a dad who of course believes he's a tough guy, well, they can turn you into a balling blubbering piece of jello.

But I sure do love that.

Thanks again Steve, and I'm positive you'll experience the same thing when your children mature.

Heck it isn't even Fathers Day yet, Holy Cow!!

Very glad to hear that your father's day weekend is of to such a good start!

"Oh shit" re the joystick though. I must have checked the wrong box and ordered expedited delivery. I meant to choose the 3 to 4 day option as it wouldn't have costed much and no one at work would have noticed. Hopefully i don't lose my job!
